A few weeks ago we were asked to paint some flags/banners. They had to be non-specific to a particular country or organisation, so after much head-scratching, this is what we came up with;

The motif runs centrally down the vertical length of this banner and represents a variety of nationalities reaching out in friendship. Another had a circular version of the same idea;

Banners

This afternoon the whole of KS2 went into the hall and painted banners in preparation for Karnival. We went with a theme of the home nations and decorated the banners with a mix of symbols and images.
